Prophet Muhammad in the Bible

Missionary dishonestly deny the prophecy of Prophet Muhammad in the Bible.

Here is the 16th verse from the 5th chapter of the Shir haShirim ( שיר השירים )

16 His mouth is most sweet; yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.’

Try the word: מ ח מ ד , “mem” “chet” mem” “dalet” and look that up in any online the Hebrew-English dictionary, you will find one of the meaning is the PROPER name : MUHAMMAD

The 5th chapter of the Shir haShirim ( שיר השירים ) gave a prophecy about an individual to come, a mystery man.

Song of Songs 5:10 says:

י דּוֹדִי צַח וְאָדוֹם, דָּגוּל מֵרְבָבָה.

10 ‘My beloved is white and ruddy, pre-eminent above ten thousand.

This clearly describe a prophecy of Prophet Muhammad as he conquered Mecca. It is a well known historically documented fact that in the year 630 CE Muhammad entered Mecca as the leader of an army of 10,000 “ten thousand men”.

This verse and the preceeding verse (v. 11) also match Prophet Muhammad’s physical description as found in Muslim sources (light skin and black hair).

Then the Song of Songs verse 5:15 compares this prophetic mystery man to the land of “Lebanon” which is the land of the Arabs.

15 His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold; his aspect is like Lebanon, excellent as the cedars.

This undeniably implies that the mystery man would be an from Arab lineage.

Missionary on twisting Quran 37:107 and how many sons did prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) have?

Missionary Ken Temple again demonstrated his deliberate twisting of Quranic passage to show that it was Jesus’s sacrifice who was intended as the ransom for Abraham (p ) sacrifice in the Quranic phrase bidhib’ḥin ʿaẓīmin بذبح عظيم (with a great sacrifice)

This is ridiculous. No saying of Prophet Muhammad nor any exegesis from early scholars of Islam ever mention about this theory.

Ken try distort Quranic passage to inject his twisted theology of god committed suicide for the sin of the world.

Well on the contrary the Quran CLEARLY refutes that Jesus was ever killed or crucified as a sacrifice in Quran 4:157 ” And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Mary, the apostle to Allah; and they did not kill him nor crucify him, but it appeared to them so……. and they killed him not for sure.”

In Al-Misbah Al-Munir fi Tahzib Tafsir Ibn Katsir, there is a prayer of Abraham explaining the proceeding ayah

«اللَّهُمَّ فِي الرَّفِيقِ الْأَعْلَى»

(O Allah, with the Exalted Companion (of Paradise)).

(And grant me an honorable mention in later generations.) meaning, `cause me to be remembered in a good manner after my death, so that I will be spoken of and taken as a good example.’ This is like the Ayah,

(And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among the later generations: “Salam (peace) be upon Ibrahim. Thus indeed do we reward the good doers.)

So what it means is that the prayer of Abraham is heard by God and his act of obedience and the test from God become an example for later generations

[Quran 37:106] Indeed, this was the clear TRIAL..
[Quran 37:107] And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice.
[Quran 37:108] And we PRESERVED his history for SUBSEQUENT GENERATIONS.

Every year muslims commemorated this obedience of Abraham as big / MIGHTY event.

Milion upon million of animal slaughtered wordwide and the meat are shared for the needy as acts of social justice hence what is meant by the MIGHTY sacrifice “بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ” in Q 37:107. Its nothing to do with God commited suicide to ransom sin.

No God can commit suicide to pay the debts of His creations thats sacrifical concept is alien to true Semitic traditions.

In the Bible Jesus did NOT teach that His sacrifice will ransom many.

This is evident from Luke narrative when he clearly disagreed with Mark 10:45 for he eliminated this key verse from his gospel’s revision of Mark.

Consider too the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15 – no sacrifice was required in Jesus teaching.

Also In the Quran, we are told that killing an innocent believing soul is a major sin. Q 4:92-93

And we know that prophet Abraham and his son Ismail was a good believer, men of God so the dream the dream Abraham had was meant to be a test to him.

Thats why God intervened and saved Abraham and set example that no human sacrifce is allowed.

Actually in broader context there is more story of this passages that the Quran corrects obvious mistakes in the Bible regarding how many children did prophet Abraham (p) have..

Is it?

One son
“And He said, “Take now your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac , and go to the land of Moriah; and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you.” (Genesis 22:2)

Two sons
“For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the bondwoman and one by the free woman.” (Galatians 4:22)

Christian apologist love to use ridiculous excuse that accusing the mother of Ishmael being a bonds woman,so Ishmael was not a legitimate son.

These people seems ignorant that Hagar is a legitimate wife of Abraham: “And Sarah Abram’s wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.” (Genesis 16:3)

Further proof is that both are legitimate son

“Then his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him (Abraham) in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, facing Mamre,” (Genesis 25:9)

The Quran being the final revealation from God pure from human tampering corrects this mistake in Surat 37 Aş-Şāffāt سورة الصافات (Those who set the Ranks) – as follows:

[Quran 37:99] And [then] he said, “Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me.
[Quran 37:100] My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous.”
[Quran 37:101] So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy.
[Quran 37:102] And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, “O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think.” He said, “O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast.”
[Quran 37:103] They both submitted, and he put his forehead down (to sacrifice him).
[Quran 37:104] We called him: “O Abraham.
[Quran 37:105] You have fulfilled the vision.” Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
[Quran 37:106] Indeed, this was the clear TRIAL..
[Quran 37:107] And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice.
[Quran 37:108] And we PRESERVED his history for SUBSEQUENT GENERATIONS.
[Quran 37:109] Peace be upon Abraham.
[Quran 37:110] Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
[Quran 37:111] Indeed, he was of Our believing servants.
[Quran 37:112] And We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous.
[Quran 37:113] And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself.

Thus, the Quran shows Abraham indeed bore two sons, Ishmael and Isaac

Refuting Missionary on absurd plan salvation

Ken Temple the internet missionary who has been stalking Muslim blogs and is preying to save Muslim soul to (“his vesion of”) christ yet again made an attempt to defend his position on the salvation.

“We have already answered Paul Williams and others on the question of Jesus dying
and His natures – anyone can understand that if a person has two natures, and
Jesus has 2 natures; and that God cannot die, then it was the human body that
died and the human soul and invisible Deity was separated from the body at
Jesus’ death; and His Divine Power of an Indestructible life (Hebrews 7:16-17,
in agreement with 1 Timothy 6:15-16) that raised Himself back up from the dead.
(John 2:19-22; 10:18)”

His argument is not only illogical, but inconsistent with the incarnation theory that God become man (God Forbid!).

This version of Ken’s god incarnate was each person independent to each natures thus the God incarnation failed to manifest into real human.

If this implies TWO natures of Jesus there was never a real union between god and man in Jesus. The one still was ever decaying . Another was omniscient. The one is immortal, while another one did die. So Jesus was still human and God is still God.

This is theological mess.

Ins Islam, God is unique whether it is in “person” or in “nature” or whatever attribute we want to define. He is the ONLY ONE of his kind. Other so-called mand-god, are never in the same genre as God. There is not such a thing as God-head or God-kind like mankind. The word, God, can only refer uniquely to whose identity is God.

Ken squirmed on the fact  he has been refuted by br. Paul Williams..

“I don’t see the point in continually to beat that argument out. We have explained what the Bible and Christianity teaches. You just refuse to accept it. The reasons that you refuse to understand and believe is explained by Jesus in  John 8:34-58.”

No, unlike your absurd worldview,  I believe muslim like br. Paul Bilal Williams like many other reverts  found liberty in Islam from the absud theory that the world’s sin was redeemed through the death of God .

Islam teach that the purpose of life for people is to undergo a test, immediately after prophet Adam. A constant battle not be tempted to satan’s desire to make people to sin, and to do good. فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ “hasten towards all that is good” Q 2:148

In Islam we do not believe that Adam would fall, and thereby be damned; and thus God selected only a few to be saved like in Calvinism.

God in Islam is all-powerful, and HE had included the entire human family to be saved since we are ALL born sinless and gave them the free will to choose between good and evil.

We don’t believe in the fallacious vicarious atonement as a substitute for sinners — an innocent person was made to suffer for those alleged to bad things in life.

Islam contend that the object of Jesus life in particular and all prophet’s God in general was to reconcile man toward God, not God to man or God become man.

  • “Every man shall die for his own sin”
  • “To punish the just is not good,”

Thanks God for Islam..

Many lists of Biblical contradictions fail to convince readers, as many may be written off with the “inclusive” explanation (i.e. Matthew and Mark recount Jesus’ last words as being “my God, my God why have you forsaken me”, Luke claims they were “into thy hands I commit my spirit”, while John says they were “it is finished”, and Christians generally claim that Jesus said all three in succession, “my God, my God why have you forsaken me, into your hands I commit my spirit, it is finished”.), but there are some narratives that cannot be reconciled, no matter how you superimpose them.

Rather than posting them all here at once and leave readers floundering in all the references, I’ll start with a case study of one particular event, namely Peter’s denial of Christ. While the wording differs insignificantly between the three questioners who point Peter out, that is not…
